I met the Lord our Father
While flying out in Space
He'd moved back in with his parents
After creating the human race

The gates to his house were open
The flower beds were neat
He beckoned us in from the doorway
And motioned us all to seat

I asked him why he'd left us
Leaving Satan holding sway
To rob and kill each other
To founder in decay

He answered in fluting music
I was deaf to all he said
He smiled in understanding
And spoke straight into our heads

"I left you as a master
Leaves a pet to play alone
To do the jobs he must do
To pay for his food and home"

"If by Satan you mean Johnno
He's living down the lane
He's not been to earth for millenia
He may soon return again"

"What pet have you left to come here?"
"The monkeys i suppose
I taught them how to call me
By VOIP or mobile phone"

"If you created us all
Then who created you?"
He motioned his father and mother
"I owe it all to these two.

"Their ma and pas created them
And so on back through time
To the day our first ancestor
Scrambled out of the slime"

We thanked him for his message,
Got directions out of town
Slayed him his mother and father
And burnt his cottage down

Sought out Johnno our Satan
And to him we did the same
We shall not e'er live as monkeys
Or admit that from them we came"
