I had a job to do down at the charity ball
It was a charity for children with nothing at all
A benefit for kids who can't afford shoes
But where's the charity for me when I got the blues?

There a crooked senator was giving a speech
On philanthropy benevolance and brushing your teeth
With his velvet voice he saught to right all wrongs
But he hadn't reckoned on me and my gun

I had a lazer pistol and I gripped it tight
It was an obsolete model with malfunctioning sights
A poor tool, sure, but it would get the job done
Unless I accidently leave it set to stun

As the oration peaked I jumped to my feet
Cheeks hot and burning with a prickly heat
I yelled "For your hipocracy and lies
and your murdering ways you surely must die!"

I pulled my pistol and I aimed it well
Then I closed my eyes and tried to blow him to hell
When I opened my eyes I was on the floor
And security were on me they were beating me raw

When I came to I puked on my shoes
I was tied up tight and I could not get loose
The senator said "Now say your prayers to Saint Paul!"
And "The children will get nothing 'cos I'm taking it all!"

I cried for mercy they ignored my calls
I guess I sealed my fate at the charity ball
